Well if I were the Empress here is what would happen

This is inspired by the post Goofy stuff by Pal.  We were a bunch of hyper active, insanely imaginative kids.  School for us was tame ….. home was just base – you know to eat, visit the loo, change clothes.  Our life was spent in the garage+lawn/the roof/where ever there was scope for “interesting” activities.
 

It is apparent that all women beyond a certain age have had enough of the bullying done by fitness centres, slimming industry and other people who want to do us great harm by making simple eating and drinking feel like sinning. Just read the story below …..

So what are your new year resolutions?
Have you made a list which contains the following
1. Lose Weight
2. Get out of the debt trap
3. Stop smoking
4. Start an exercise routine
5. Join a gym
6. Learn something new – language, skill whatever …..
Errr Halt!  Enough of that

You know the classic melodramatic dialogue one came upon in our Hindi cinema …. during the sixties and seventies
Hai Rabba/Hey Prabhu (pause for effect) isko dekhne se pehley meri aankehn band kyon nahin huien
Or the other alternative
Hey Ram, mujhey is ko dekhne se pehley kyun nahin utha liya
 
Here is a list of things that would make me say that...

Yeah this is a social art one should learn.  One is faced with many situations when one has to paint a fake smile on the face, show pleasure, fork out a whole lot of hard earned money and get a gift for someone one wishes were wiped off the face of this earth!  We need to do the gifting thing for Diwali, for Christmas, for weddings and New Year.
