Oh boy! Some of them have started thinking it this way already! Indians are like fungus! (Well yea..just like me, if you dint know that mushrooms do belong to the same category of fungus..Kingdom Fungi!! Thanks to the Wikipedia enlightening me as always on any matters of science or anything and everything and yea..I have a very poor memory of attending Biology classes back in school. I can only remember those important stuffs we learned which you need for life...oh no don't give me that stare...we all need to remember that part!!) So now  as I come to the topic, Indians are like Fungus! That's what someone just told me! To make it look a little more cuter and positive, I thought I could modify it into the "Mushy Mushrooms".  Only for the post title. From here on Fungus it is! If you dint like the statement maybe you could stop reading ahead!!

For the ones who are still reading, big hugs to you! So Fungus, given a little bit of moisture and a little bit of warmth, it grows anywhere. Exactly my point. Wherever whichever part of the world you go to, you could find fungus. So are Indians! No no...its on a positive note. I am a proud Indian myself. No I am fungus too..Smiles smiles.

Just few weeks ago, during my casual talks with my boss (who is an English guy) he was sharing his vivid experience with the Indians throughout his life. He once went into a very big library in UK and found that all the intellectuals who filled the seats were all Indians! Well he had gone far too emotional at a later stage.  The pub his grandfather once went to, the whole area is now an Indian Colony! And he was asked "Who are you? What do you want?" by an Indian couple when he decided to take a stroll through the area! Wow! Though he wasn't narrating the stories on a positive note, I felt pride pumping through my blood! In a second, I felt myself grow taller and the usual curve on my lips grew to a winner's smile!

Me having experience living only in the Middle East, other than India, the examples here would be more related to what I have been seeing around and experiencing. If you have been to any of the Gulf Countries, you are most likely to find out in a few days time that the favorite shopping location for any one (Indians or anyone) is Lulu. So much true! And come to gold business too! Who leads here? Business seems to be in their blood! Another guy in my office said about the Indians.

There is this famous joke about Indians (Mallus in particular) that they were the first to land on the Moon and that when Neil Armstrong landed, he was then offered a warm welcome tea (special chaya) by the street vendor Chandran. Apart from the jokes, aren't we the brand ambassador's of the Darwin's theory of Evolution that leads to "Survival of the Fittest"? The Indian species can never go into the zone of "Endangered".

Our land has gone through cultural and genetic evolution through generations and all kind of people have invaded our land. Some of them stayed back spread their genes and culture. Some of them were happy only to loot our wealth. But these ages of different rules and exposure to various culture, have surely made Indians the evolved species now, all ready to compete the world.

Once outside India, in most of the places in the world, you will find Indians. Though not all NRI's are rich, there is one thing common to almost 99% of them (Static as approximated by my thoughts alone). They have all learned to live. From large business magnets to office workers to labors to small shop owners to servants to anything and everything that you could do to earn a living and a roof above your head.

Feeling proud to be an Indian! The smarter lot as viewed by most of the people from other nations. Don't you feel it in you?

Let the tricolors fly high!
Spreading our rich colours...

Let us not conquer their lands...
but their hearts!
